Members of our founding team set out to help communities relying on artisanal mining by providing access to key resources. In addition, the team was able to reduce the environmental impact of existing practices.

Artisanal miners lacked access to key economic, legal, technical and labor resources

Legal, technical, economic, social and labor support to help artisanal miners improve their environmental footprint and social impact.
Gave artisanal miners and communities economic support to help them create financial security.
Provided legal support to artisanal miners who lacked the resources to work within the law.
Provided technical support to the artisanal miners which included tools and training .

Helped artisanal mining communities reduce environmental destruction while establishing access to formal supply chains.
Reduced negative externalities
By allowing artisanal miners to participate in formal operations and supply chains the team was able to regulate activities and reduce water consumption by over 50%.
Improved processes
By supporting the artisanal miners with a number of resources, they were able to increase efficiency and productivity.
Sustainable methods
Helped the communities adopt sustainable practices that reduces their carbon footprint.
